Like an ABS Plain Socket, but with one end with a BSP Female Thread (internal). Useful for connecting solvent cement pipework to BSP Male threaded pipes and fittings.
Half an ABS Plain Socket, with a BSP Male Thread (external) on the other end. Useful for connecting solvent cement pipework to BSP Female threaded pipes and fittings.
A Reducing Bush fits cleanly inside the socket of standard fittings (e.g. Equal Tee, Elbows, etc.) to enable the use of smaller diameter pipe. These Reducing Bushes are plain glue ended on the larger side, and BSP Female threaded on the smaller side. Available in a vast range of size combinations.
A Tank Connector is essentially a Plain/BSP Male Threaded Barrel Nipple, but with two back nuts and a rubber seal. Used in aquarium and aquaculture projects for creating a pipe link through the side of a tank. Imperial size given is the plain socket size.
